2010-03-09 13:11 Sleep would be good ;-) 7 months today, and wondering if I'm ever going to have a solid nights worth of sleep. I never slept through before kids, but ..... thank goodness I have them in my bed. If it weren't for co-sleeping I'd have to actually get up, and if I didn't breastfeed I'd have to get up AND make bottles in the middle of the night. This way it's more like a self-service milk bar and straight back to sleep.
2009-11-17 22:02 I'm trying to be good With half a tub of ice-cream and a baby attached to me in a sling (www.bebecannelle.com) I'm trying to come up with some good ideas for this site. But then again I'm not so sure that 10 in the evening - without having slept for more than 2 hours in a row in months - is a good place to start. If only it were the thought that counts!
2009-05-02 12:25 Saturday at College Teenagers and puberty should be another topic. The hormones and their devastating effect on what was once a lovely, caring and sensible child. The obsession with what the "cool" people think, want and do - no matter that they will not go anywhere if they don't change their attitudes. No matter that none of them will thank my hormone ridden offspring for losing track and giving up what once were her biggest passions. It's absolutely maddening.
2009-03-13 17:05 moving baby this baby is definitely kicking - 19 weeks - what will it be like in another 10 weeks - footballer in the making!
2009-02-26 15:18 New content on Sleeping have finally managed to put together a small text on sleeping - could write forever but am trying to keep it short!
2008-11-03 21:48 Google's Chrome I have changed my mind about Chrome, the new browser from google. I still hold onto my critical points and a few new ones, BUT boy is that browser fast!!!!! You won't believe it, pages that take a couple of seconds in a decent browser, load immediately in Chrome.. you don't even notice a delay. And for the generally lousy pic quality in Explorer, Chrome at least is a bit of an improvement, though they just squeeze the pixels together, so the pics are smaller.
2008-11-01 00:16 Blogs now tagged Dear Dama, good news, the blogs are now tagged and taggable - including a tag cloud. Found a plugin for it! It should even work for the RSS feed, meaning that you could selectively subscribe to only a "tag" - which is a chosen topic
2008-10-30 22:52 Google's Chrome Not too impressed. The visuals are as bad as Internet Explorer. Nothing like the clear and crisp picture of Safari or even Firefox. It can't get the Flash Player plugin and doesn't seem to know about RSS or atom feeds... still, it's only the beta
2008-10-30 22:39 Hacker's solution Ok, it's sort of solved. Those who can't manage won't have access.. ha ha. Am just downloading the new up and coming browser by google: Chrome. It has a rocket like usage expansion, so we'll need to make sure this site looks ok on it...
2008-10-30 21:24 RSS troubles Can't really hack it. Safari and IE 7 do it beautifully, but Firefox is half committed and IE 6 is hopeless
2008-10-30 19:30 RSS feed added Hi Dama, the RSS feed should now be working and I am actually writing this entry to test it.
2008-10-29 13:50 Admin added Hi Dama The backend is now separated from the frontend and you will need a password etc to login
2008-10-28 21:39 Links established Hi Dama, Hope you have a nice time in Mallorca. I have created the main links and the main pages - ready for you to fill with content
